Today the cfopenBB (www.cfopenBB.com) open source initiative was launched. This new project will be aimed at providing a ColdFusion port of the popular phpBB (www.phpbb.com). Although the basic framework of the phpBB program will remain intact, the application we be completely re-written in Macromedia's ColdFusion development language. Although, some preliminary coding has begun, cfopenBB is asking for those in the ColdFusion community who are interested in participating in the development of this new project to sign up at www.cfopenbb.com.
